Community Guidelines

Last updated: 6/2/2026. These guidelines apply to everyone on ally. We may update them; continued use means you accept the current version.

Our goal

ally is for real people looking for respectful connections. These rules keep the community safe, kind, and trustworthy. Violations can lead to warnings, restrictions, or permanent removal, depending on severity and context.

Respect and consent

  • Treat others with respect. No harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation.
  • Consent matters in chat and in person. Do not pressure anyone for photos, meetings, or intimacy.
  • Stop messaging if someone asks you to stop. Respect boundaries and “no.”

Be who you say you are

  • Use your own photos and accurate basics (age, name as allowed by the product).
  • Do not impersonate other people, brands, or public figures.
  • Do not use ally primarily to promote businesses, scams, or multi-level marketing.

What is not allowed

  • Hate speech, slurs, or targeting people for race, religion, gender, disability, or other protected traits.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or any sexualization of minors — zero tolerance.
  • Sharing someone else's private images or information without permission (doxing).
  • Violence, self-harm encouragement, or instructions to harm others.
  • Illegal activity, fraud, or attempts to obtain money or financial details through deception.
  • Spam, bots, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.

Reporting and enforcement

Use in-app report and block tools when something feels wrong. We review reports as quickly as we can and may take action on accounts or content that break these guidelines or our Terms.

For serious issues, including safety concerns with someone you are not matched with, contact support@allys.in. See also our Safety Center.

Tips for a better experience

  • Meet in public first when you decide to meet offline, and tell someone you trust your plans.
  • Keep early conversations in the app until you are comfortable.
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels off, disengage and use block/report.
